Re: [apple-iphone] Mophie Juice Pack Helium

I believe the Juice Pack Air uses the lightning connector.

[apple-iphone] Re: iPhone 5 De-activated

Hi,

I did let it complete the update. It said update complete. It powered
off and powered back on and I had to input password, etc. both times. I did
have it plugged into AC power as well.

I guess I will see what happens next update and be sure to try to make a
call immediately after the update. If it happens again I will give Apple a
call.

I didn't know if it was just me, or if anyone else experienced this.

Thanks everyone.

Re: [apple-iphone] Mophie Juice Pack Helium

I'm going for the Juice Pack Air as well. The specs say to use it when your phone is at 20% battery life left & to shut it off when it gets to 80% because then the phone uses more power to juice up to 100%.

Re: [apple-iphone] Mophie Juice Pack Helium

They did a soft launch to those of us who had previously purchased juice
packs and registered to be notified when it was ready. I received mine on
2/13 and havent taken it off my phone - it at least doubles my battery
life. It is quite a bit different form previous juice packs and more like
a similar product in case had previously released in that the battery
"pack" is in the back piece and the "control" is in a bottom snap on piece
that goes into the lightning port, adds about half an inch of link to the
phone and comes with a headset "extender" as well. I'm not very fond of
the design changes but considering how long it took them to get it out, I
am sure they have their reasons...

All in all it does what you need it to and if you need the battery life is
worth the money but it doesn't have the previous elegance to it if you use
plug in headphones - I use Bluetooth so it doesn't really matter.

All my iPad calendars are in iCloud so that must be why I see it!

Re: [apple-iphone] Re: iPhone 5 De-activated

Pat,

Did you let the upgrade run completely through or did you interrupt it? So far I have run the updates while connected by cable and through iTunes. It takes about 15 minutes and the iPhone has to go through a complete shut down and start cycle. There are plenty of places where it seems to be doing nothing and one might want to interrupt the process. Just let it go.

[apple-iphone] Wilson Sleek booster cradle

Is anyone using a "sleek" cradle signal booster by Wilson Electronics?

About $75-100.

Worth it? I know downside is you have to leave the phone in cradle.

Thanks
