The name of your iPhone can be changed in Settings > General > About > Name.
The password for its wifi network can be changed in Settings > Personal Hotspot > Password.
Regarding iCloud (rather than "the cloud" in general):
Your question made me discover that an iPhone of mine went by the simple name of "iPhone". I renamed it to match the pattern, and I have just backed it up to iCloud. That back-up has retained the original name "iPhone". So I guess that devices are identified by their serial numbers rather than by their names. (At least with Apple.)
You may want to refer to the support pages on Apple's website for remaining questions.
