Dave, thanks for the responses. I have a microcell too but it isn't working at the moment. Need to do some work on that. And yes, I do have WiFi calling enabled, as does my hubby.
To the poster who asked whether I really use all that much data, I checked and I used 6 Gb the last two months. 6Gb each month that is.
I gave up the two unlimited plans and got an unlimited business plan. Should save $60 per month.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and ideas.
Patti
Hi Patti,I previously posted my thoughts. As for the cell phone hole I can sympathize. At home, I get no signal at all which is inconvenient since I have a home office. Some years ago I used an AT&T app called 'Mark the Spot' to capture signal data. After a couple of months of daily recordings AT&T gave me a microcell which is my own personal cell site plugged into our Internet. It's still working great and solved the very local signal hole for me. AT&T doesn't do that anymore but there is a better solution. If you haven't already go into Settings and turn on WiFi Calling. With that on, anywhere anytime, your phone calls get transparently routed over WiFi. Home, office, shopping, anywhere with WiFi.Doesn't help with your fundamental question of trying to get your cell phone bill down.Have you looked at two family plans? One with your two legacy unlimited phones and one with the other three?daveAnnapolis MD
