I contacted the developer of one of my most vital apps 3 times. He ignored me until the 3rd attempt and said that he does plan to make it iOS 11 compatible and that every day that passes he loses money.
So maybe there is hope for some of the apps that haven't yet updated. Hey, we all procrastinate, right? I don't know how easy it is the rewrite such things but some may still be planning to do it.
I kept an old phone ( in addition to my X) just so I could still have access to the old working version of that app which I still use daily.Ashi
