Some developers started to upgrade their apps from 32-bit to 64-bit soon after WWDC in June 2017, when they had a beta of the iOS to work with.
Others waited until the final release version was available, rather than having to shoot at a movie target.
Still more were no longer in business.
And others couldn't be bothered to support past users.
