Re: [apple-iphone] AppleCare or carrier Insurance or ?

Ditto here. One huge plus for AppleCare+ is the fact that free telephone support is always available, which the carriers can't provide. For that matter, carriers are trying to offer a wide variety of brands, so they simply don't know enough about iPhones to be able to do much more than suggest replacing a phone.

I buy Apple Care Plus for my phones and have been completely satisfied when I've had to use it.

I really do not know the differences between AC and carrier insurance.  I can get coverage

thru my carrier for $7, I think it is, a month.  Not sure if its worth it or AC is better.  I only

want to get something.
