I get the same thing, Jim. In fact I didn't know"respond with text" was there until this thread came up. I can change all the responses if I want.

It says down below that I can change them to say anything I like, but the curser always goes to the beginning of the line - I can't delete what's there.Try typing.I'm on a 6+, meaning a year older than yours.When I go to Settings —> Phone —> Respond with Text, and tap on a response, I get a cursor at the beginning of the line, and the keyboard.When I begin to type, the existing text vanishes and my typing appears.<Respond with Text.jpeg>
