Press and hold the sleep button. If the power off slider does not appear, then hold the sleep and home button until it restarts. If that does not work, take it to Apple.

I recently updated my iphone 6.
Today at the hairdressers they wanted to see some of my picture on Facebook.
Afterward it took numerous tries to get off FB. But I still cannot get off line and back to my apps screen (Home screen). When I click the button to return nothing happens. I can't use my phone. Help please!
