Many of them fall into categories like "in case I need it, and don't want to have to download it THEN", or alternates for apps I use regularly (*different* mapping programs), or several Audubon apps bought on sale for 99¢, to help identify something when we're off on vacation.

I'm sure I have a bunch of trash in there also.
