[apple-iphone] Selling your old phone

 

I have decided when my contract expires this November, I am going to get a different phone and use Verizon. How do you sell your old iphone? Does AT & T "lock it up" until someone renews the contract for this phone? How does this work? I want to pay less for my unlimited services so I'm leaving AT & T.
