you could also check with Verizon. I also live in Kaneohe but I'm on
AT&T. Hopefully your son has already found his solution. Aloha!

Hawaii ,very close to Honolulu ..he has 4 bars but no 3g and sometimes no
edge..I looked at the coverage map and it shows great coverage for both
