Someone asked another question about library eBooks.
> I'll keep all this in mind. Every vendor has its own issues, and libraries usually go with the easiest, or the cheapest (which may be quite different!)
>
> I'm a libearian (spelling intentional--see * below). In January-February I'll be taking an online course (my first online class, yay) on "The Wild and Woolly World of eBooks in Libraries." The first session deals with file formats. I hope to report at least some of what I learn to this list. As a two-year, not entirely satisfied, user of the iPhone Kindle app, l plan to pay close attention.
So, more to come. Hey, look up and watch the moon meet Jupiter the next couple of nights. Venus conjunction to come in March. Celestial clockwork--see Starwalk app for details.
*Libearian: a librarian who also happens to be a bear (gay man, generally chubby, with lots of body hair). The Web~Google is not yet alert to this term. Nevertheless, we're good. Stay tuned, as they (used to?) say.
