Thanks, Alice and Brent. I guess this is one of those things he'll have to get used to or go back to his old phone. Swype doesn't sound like an improvement over the iPhone keyboard if it makes more misspellings. It took me awhile to get the hang of tapping the onscreen keyboard back when I got my first iPhone (3GS.) Now it seems normal. But I must admit, when I'm writing more than a sentence or so I use the Apple bluetooth keyboard with my iPad. (Like now.)

I know the iPhone has spelling problems too but it doesn't seem as many misspellings as with Android. The guy has been using Android for quite sometime now, so I'd think he has the swype thing down.
