Why not just implement the 2-factor authentication? It's way more secure than what you're doing now.
You could have it done by the time you've spent time posting about it here.
Keep the hackers out of your account!

It's like a robo caller that never stops calling. I get the message, repeatedly, but I simply choose not to do it.
Yes, I've logged in to appleid.apple.com and turned it off. No, the red badge on the Settings icon does not go away.
Frustrating.
