My husband has hearing aides that don't directly connect to the iPhone through the Bluetooth setting. In order to connect I have to go into settings then accessibility scrolling to the bottom there is a hearing aid section. Once that is clicked on the hearing aids connect. Maybe your hearing aides are similar.

I was just reminded that my iPhone X is no longer connecting to my hearing aids.
I assume that the HAs setting is involved in this feature. But it says "Not" and doesn't allow any changes.
What am I missing?
