[apple-iphone] Text expander question please

 

My apologies in advance but I don't know the correct name of the feature that for instance tells your iPhone (OS6) when I type UPS expand it & actually type United Parcel Service. I like the feature even if I can't find it now but I have two questions about it. First, if I actually want UPS to appear how do I tell my 4GS not to type United Parcel Service? Second, when it puts in the expanded word my iPhone also speaks the new word. How do I stop this? It is distracting and unnecessary.
