Import the mp3 file to iTunes. Right-click (Ctrl + Click) on the tone > Create AAC Version.
Right click the AAC Version > View in Finder.
Rename the file extension from m4a to m4r.
Import to iTunes the m4r file. You have a ringtone!

Subject: [apple-iphone] Iphone 4s
I have switched from a Blackberry to an AT&T Iphone 4s. I would like to have a Morse Code ringtone as the phone ringtone. I had one on my Blackberry that I created in a MP3 file and it was simple to download and work great for me. I still have the Mp3 file, how can I move this file into my Iphone ringtone list?
I have Itunes and have syn the phone to my computer. In the Tunes I don't see the ring list so I am lost as to how to move a ring to into the phone.
Thanks for your help in advance
Mike
