[apple-iphone] 3G iPad setup

 

Im at work so cannot test, but can I setup, or use a 3G iPad if there is no sim inside it?
Im giving my wife my 3G iPad2, and want to set it up by syncing to iTunes and removing unneeded content and renaming it, it will stay on my Apple ID
