I discovered at the app store an app called SKOBBLER. I paid .99 for it and it has been really good for navigation. sometime it takes me out of the way if I let it, but it always gets me where I am going. It changes the route if I go a different way and reroutes it for me. It works on the E network as well as the G3 network. It gives me vocal direction except when I plug it in to the car. It uses some battery power but it gets me where I am going and back.. It is easy to follow so even if I plug it in to charge, I can still follow easily where I am going and when to make turns, etc.
my suggestion.
I don't have the new 0S, haven't made up my mind or the new map app. But the one I have now that does not do navigating, also shuts off because I have my phone shut to save battery power. However Skobbler never shuts off which is good.
