I just need to know that after Ive set MAC iTunes, that while I can resetup the iTunes sync settings, that I will have my apps there. Or would they be imported by Transfer Purchases?

If you get it at the Apple Store, or can take it there soon after, they will be EXTREMELY helpful moving stuff from Windows. If you're close enough to go there regularly, they have classes on a variety of "use" topics.
