I have used Zagg's protective shields on my iPhones (3) and they are non-intrusive and are virtually invisible if they are put on correctly. If at first you don't succeed, read the instructions. If it doesn't work, Follow the instructions. It is not easy to put them on correctly, but is worth the trouble.
