I have taken hundreds of photos on my iPhone (4) and iPad (new), both 32G, and would like to organize them. Many on my phone show up as duplicates, both on Camera Roll and Photo Stream. At one time I tried to organize them by subject but I still ended up with duplicates and when I deleted one, the other was lost. There are many fewer photos on the iPad.
What I would like to do is download all of my photos to iTunes and then choose which ones I would like to keep on the iPhone and iPad. Is that possible?
I made a big mess the last time I tried to sync photos via iTunes -- instead of the pix going from phone to computer, they went from computer to phone. Don't want that!
So far, the only way I have figured out to download from one device to the other is by emailing it to myself and saving it on the other device. I'm sure there is an easier way : -)
