[apple-iphone] new iPhone on the way - question about iTunes

 

In the directions of my order notice, the instructions say I may be asked to sync with iTunes while setting up the iPhone.

I'm not a Mac person but do have the current version of iTunes on my PC.

Will I have the choice of what is transferred to my iPhone? Music is OK but I'd rather enter by hand the few contacts I wish to keep on the iPhone.

I'm guessing I have to use iTunes for apps downloads? Just don't want to
make a mess of everything right off the get go.
