Yep it will be an easy fix for you..Buy a new charging cord. This happens a lot for members of my family when the charging cord is going bad...Of course it could also mean that the charging port of your phone is going bad...Hope my first suggestion is correct.

I have owned an iPhone 6s for a couple of months
There's an intermittent fault with the charging function. I have to wiggle the lightning connector before the charging icon appears on the screen
Is this something that I can fix myself?
If NOT, can anybody indicate what it will cost to have it fixed professionally?
I guess this will mean a trip to the nearest Apple shop with parking!
