Is that a problem though?
There is a perception that the hard restart solves everything, but the better option is to turn it off, then on, as this does a range of tidying up on shutdown, whereas the hard restart was more to resolve freeze issues. I read this on an Apple forum from an Apple tech.
I assume that on iOS11, if the device freezes it can still be turned off?
