Lessons learned the greatest of which is to receive attentively every piece of information the phone gives one. Then, not to upgrade in a hurry and since I have two phones it's the easiest thing for me to see how it works on one before I do the other.
Now I have iphotos on my MacBook which I reinstalled after it got automatically updated to photos. I've deleted the photos ap on the MacBook. Prior to the upgrade I'd sync all photographs to the phone (15,000). Now they just don't sync. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks

PatSurely you jest. We speak here of a warning from Apple about the update amortizing several perfectly good aps. I received no warning at any time or if I did and over-looked it I'm to blame. But I would like to know where the warning was issued. No jest. The warning Pat wrote of came up on the screen of the iDevice every time you started an app that would not run under the next version of the operating system (iOS 11).Of all the conceivable ways Apple could inform users of the upcoming change, none could be more direct and immediate than that.Apps aren't "perfectly good" if the developer is unwilling or unable to keep them current.
