Wondering if anyone here has experienced the like:
Last Saturday, while working in my garage, I heard a telephone-type voice coming from the next room. My iPhone 6S running 10.3.3 was there and I was wearing my v1 Apple Watch. I got the phone and it showed "911." I hung up. The 911 operator called back. I told her that I had not dialed 911. The police showed up. My son and wife called. Apparently, my watch dialed an "SOS" even though I had not touched it. I don't remember if that feature was enabled or not, but I immediately turned it off on both iPhone>Watch and Watch>Settings>SOS. Nevertheless, SOS's were sent throughout the afternoon. When I got home, I restored the Watch. It immediately sent another SOS. Then I upgraded to the newest Apple Watch software. I also upgraded iPhone to iOS 11.0.1. One or the combination seems to have ended the unintended SOS calls. I don't know whether to enable that feature now. Probably to no use anyway as I have called "WOLF" way too often.
Updating iOS software hasn't solved a very frustrating keyboard lag in Safari, Mail and Message, however.
I am beginning to wonder about Apple even though I have been a devoted, exclusive user since the 1980's.
