Thanks for your response.
I followed your suggestion and turned off analytics.
However, when I did a sync this evening it still copied the diagnostic info. I checked the phone again and analytics are still off. Out of curiosity I did another sync and it did not copy the analytics that time.
I probably will not do another sync with this phone until Friday. We will see what happens.
FWIW, my iTunes does not always play well with my other phone an iPhone6+ when doing a sync. In those instances it does not add the music that I want but keeps that which was deleted. Maybe once or twice a month that happens. I usually change some of my music 6 days a week. I say music but they are really audio discussions that are mp3 files.
