Adding further to this Win 10/icloud thread - a point of interest
I said before that, after uninstalling ICloud, it remained in the System Tray, despite there being no evidence of it in Win 10 Settings\Apps or any other software installer/uninstaller. It remains there and working well, and now connected to MS Outlook, but after several reboots while sorting out sundry issues, iCloud remains unlisted among the installed apps! We have an invisible but functioning presence on my PC.

Issue SOLVED (permanently?)
The resolution of this is possibly only temporary but I am cross-posting in Win !0 thru XP, Outlook and iphone Groups as it shows very clearly that MS and Apple software is a tricky combination.
Following multiple posts and conversations in three groups on Yahoo, I now once more have a Calendar in Outlook directly in contact with iCloud. Will this last? (The loss of contact had no perceptible reason in the first place). The story can be followed in Outlook, Win 10 thru XP, and iphone forums.
Today, now running Outlook 2016 (which had lost all contact with iCloud) instead of 2010 (which thought it was in contact but wasn't), I decided to uninstall itunes (which was still reporting a Calendar link to iCloud despite that link being uninstalled) then uninstalled iCloud as well, and rebooted. I then reinstalled iTunes only, and noticed immediately that it still reported that iCloud was linking Outlook to the iPhone. Investigation revealed that the (uninstalled) iCloud was still active, though ALL software (MS or Apple, apart from itunes) did not list it. The Win 10 Settings\apps did not list it and I could find no trace of iCloud via any means (including Revo) but there it was on the taskbar, and accessible. So I decided to simply use iCloud Settings again and see what happened. It went through a setup procedure as though it was a new installation - one I have not seen since last year when I was setting up this PC. This succeeded - all three of my iCloud Calendars appeared in Outlook and actually worked.
While I have a working Calendar link, there are more questions in my mind than ever! Despite MS and Apple protestations, I have never been convinced that the softwares speak the same dialect. This is another example.

Very interesting, Jeremy. I have not been so lucky. Numerous iCloud Setup sessions, uninstalling and reinstalling (with reboots) did nothing in Outlook 2010, which is why I decided to uninstall Office 2010, and install Office 365. Whereas 2010 showed the iCloud folders in Outlook but would not talk to them, 365 does not even show them although iCloud Setup says it has connected to Outlook. I have no idea what to do next as I reckon I've done everything. Thanks for your input

I had that happen after the feature update to Windows 10, version 1703. All i did was remove and re-enable the mail/calendar/contacts option in iCloud and it's linked again.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
