" I have an I Phone 6s that may have come into contact with water. I haven't plugged it in or turned it on. Can I try anything to help? Thanks in advance,it's my brother's phone."
So you are not sure if was inundated? Fall in toilet? Splashed on sink? Rained on?
Try to let it dry before turning it on or plugging it in.
Some say placing the electronic device in a container of rice for a few days will draw the moisture out . It has to be buried in the rice.
Good luck and have positive thoughts.
BTW Apple techs can determine if a phone has been soaked.
