I believe that’s what they did at the Apple Store when I bought mine a couple of months ago. I traded in my old iPhone 5c and I wiped it at the store.

Every iPhone from the 5 onward uses nano-SIMs.If I buy a new, unlocked, 6S from Apple, to replace an old 5c on AT&T, can I just switch the nano-SIM into the 6S, follow the on-screen instructions, and not even have to interact with AT&T?Does anyone here know for certain? Have the appropriate experience?
