My 38mm is still showing as preparing for shipment, but no tracking number yet. I received an email from Apple last night saying that they are still working on the 42mm & will update ASAP. I've never received such a notice from them so I called, but the rep didn't have much of an explanation besides it being a difference in the supply of the configurations.

Didn't the black laptop have a *plastic* case?
I don't think black anodization on aluminum works very well.
And you CAN get a black Watch – for an extra $200. Steel.
