All the messages are on the group. For some reason the thread got split in to two parts.

Hi Brent - yes that is what I tried to explain to Mike. Not sure why the post didn't show. I don't think I replied privately (unless accidentally) below is the body of the message.

Hi Mike - I had this problem when my connection for the maps application remained with the iPhone output. When in maps try touching the screen to bring up the little speaker Bluetooth symbol on the bottom right.  Be sure that your Bluetooth is connected to the car multimedia rather than iPhone. After I checked to connect to the car the initial time  I have not had a problem. You need to be in the car with the Bluetooth enabled. Pick any location and get directions to it. then click on start and then tap the map and that Bluetooth setting selection will show up.  Hope this makes sense

Ps. I did somehow accidentally sent it privately.

I'm not seeings Sue's suggestions to you, perhaps she emailed them privately to you.

But Maps has its own volume control, that appears after you start the navigation. Icon on the bottom right.

Yes, all other sounds are working properly and the mute switch isn't set to 'mute.'  Also, I should point out that one of the times I noted the problem was prior to updating to 7.1.1, so I also doubt the OS is the cause.

I tried Sue's suggestion this morning and was unsuccessful in getting voice output, but I'm not sure I followed it correctly (didn't have hardcopy of the suggestion with me ).   I'll try again tomorrow.

Did you check out automatic photo albums in Yahoo Groups?
When you send mail to your Yahoo Group with photos attached, a photo album with attached photos is automatically created. When your group members reply to the email with photo attachments, those photos are added to the 'photomatic' albums automatically!
