I haven't been following this discussion closely so I may be off base. If you have your car connected to he iPhone by Bluetooth when using Maps, that connection may be interfering with voice directions. In my 2012 Legacy I can connect and use car speakers to answer phone, but that disables Maps voice directions. A bummer, but true. If I want Maps to talk, I plug it in to charge, but leave Bluetooth off.

> Yes, all other sounds are working properly and the mute switch isn't set to 'mute.' Also, I should point out that one of the times I noted the problem was prior to updating to 7.1.1, so I also doubt the OS is the cause.
