Re: [apple-iphone] New to the group

I have a New Trent external battery that I used on my iPhone 3GS - I have had it over a year and it charges the phone fully for 2-3 cycles. It is the 5000mamp battery. It works so well I got myself a christmas present ;-). - a 9500mamp dual port version that can charge an iPad and iPhone at the same time. I find the greatest use for these is on a long trip - I can have the battery in the carry on, run the cord out of the bag and attach it to the phone. Having the dual charger in one will allow me to use the iPad while my husband uses the iPhone on a long flight. The website is www.newtrent.com

I am very dismayed to find how quickly the battery drains...from fully charged to 25% when reading my emails today, unable to connect to my home wi-fi due to technical problems...is this normal? At our local MAC User Group meeting one person said he had to fully charge the battery for an extra two hours to "re-set" the battery...I left the phone on the charger overnight only to drain it today...this did not include getting on the internet...just reading email.
