Yep, I'm getting one of the new iPhones, the 11 Pro Max. I agree with Alice that the new phones are too expensive to buy outright, and I don't want a monthly payment, either, so what I do is set aside a little bit of money every month until I have the amount safely put aside, and that way I don't really "feel" the expense, but can actually buy the iPhone! I always sell my previous phone afterwards, and that money is my first payment into my "savings account for the next iPhone that I really want." This amount, usually about a third of the price of the new phone, gives me a good head start on that.
