[apple-iphone] voice mail reminder

My old non smart phone would beep every 15mins if there was a voice mail that I had not answered.

I have tried to find that setting on my i phone 7 but can not?

I know college students can get a discount on Apple products; what exactly is a government employee? A public librarian, a county worker?

How can we find out if we qualify?

Thanks for any advice,

~shahara

[apple-iphone] Dolphin IPad Browser

So I updated to IOS13 and IPad13 today. The Dolphin browser on my IPhone works, but the Dolphin browser on my IPad doesn't. The home screen flashes for less than a second and then it crashes. I know neither browser has been working as far as syncing the bookmarks for about a year now.

I did a hard reboot after I updated to 13, and I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it does the same thing.

I can't recall Dolphin updated their app recently, no action anymore on twitter and Facebook page. Maybe Dolphin is dead?

How to Update Apps in iOS 13

Monday September 16, 2019 5:13 PM PDT by Tim Hardwick
If you recently updated your iPhone to iOS 13 or your iPad to iPadOS 13 and you can't work out how to manually update your installed apps, then you've come to the right place.

Apple has changed the way you update apps in iOS. In earlier versions of its mobile operating system, app updates lived in their own tab in the App Store app, but that has since had to make way for a new Apple Arcade tab.

App updates now live in the App Store's Account screen, which you can access by tapping your profile picture in the top-right corner of the interface. Scroll down and you'll see any pending app updates followed by recently updated apps in chronological order.
Thus is from an article in Mac rumors.

Good morning.  After updating iOS in an iPhone X, there is no longer an update icon in the App Store.  How are the apps updated?  Thank you.

Re: [apple-iphone] Updating Apps

You have to click on your icon in the top right corner. That then gets you to the app update section.

Any clue where the button might be, iPhone, iMac, App Store or some other location?

In the described position on the screen, in the App Store, on the iPhone and iPad.
In this case, it is my ID logo:
