The idiosyncrasies between MS and Apple software are frequent for those of us who use both, but now my iCloud link between the two has a calendar which does not seem to exist but is treated as the default!! Is this possible, you ask.
A few days ago, while using the Windows 10 PC, I created a new user account (for reasons not relevant to this). When I went back into my own usual user account, the iCloud calendars in Outlook had gone. Ceased to exist. I thereupon went into iCloud and exited my Apple id, so the whole link had gone. After reboot, I re-did iCloud, and finished up, as usual, with my Calendars etc, except that a new calendar called Calendar (06) is in the system. This seems to be Outlook's default BUT it is not listed in Outlook's list of calendars and has no existence apart from appearing in Outlook as the default (iCloud contains online the relevant calendars only). This is very dodgy as it means I always have to remember to switch to the iCloud calendar whenever I need it in Outlook. How do I get rid of a calendar which is not listed in Outlook's list of calendars, but appears as the default calendar all the time?
