I have had thoughts of switching back to a simple itunes backup, syncing with Outlook, for a while. Today i have done it. I had two calendars on the iphone and both synced to Outlook via icloud. Today I saved both and imported them into Outlook then synced via itunes (Obviously I switched icloud off first). Now, However, I have three Calendars in Outlook, not two, and I took good care to get rid of any redundant calendars during the procedure. In Outlook, under "My calendars" I have a calendar which appears to be the one from the iphone. But also, under "Other Calendars" I have two calendars which appear to be the two from the iphone (i.e. one of them appears twice and can be displayed as two separate calendars). So far, sending test messages etc between them seems to confirm that I am not mistaken. Is this what I should expect? Any advice anyone?Nick

Although Apple has dropped support for other syncing they have not yet broken calendars. As a backup Google Calendar works across platforms as well.good luck, dave
