[apple-iphone] iTunes 10.6.1 Update for iPhone 4 to iOS 6

 

Tonight I tried to update an iPhone 4 to iOS 6 per notice in
iTunes 10.6.1 that the update was available.

The iTunes screen says "A newer version of the iPhone software is
available (version 6.0). To update your iPhone with the latest
software, click update."

I click update and the popup screen says "This version of iTunes
(10.6.1) is the current version."

Why don't I get an update?

Please advise.
