[apple-iphone] Groups in contacts don't open

 

Very surprisingly when you tap a particular group instead of opening the check symbol next to disappears and reappears when you tap again. I don't understand. how do you open a particular group of contacts? What on earth is going on? I'm now relying upon a third party ap to access my groups.
