Make sure you save the text message, also print it out and the full bill for that month, prior month and following month. Also any information you have on your unlimited data plan. Put it away in a real safe place.

Then call AT&T and ask them if it was sent in error, and to show you numbers to substantiate their claim that you are in the top 5%. And to define top 5% of all users or unlimited data users. Take good notes. If you go into a store, make sure it is a AT&T company store and not a franchise store. Better yet, call AT&T, so their answers don't change because you are taking notes.

I've considered downgrading to 200MB/month to save $15/month. But when we do travel, we use the MapQuest navigation app a lot. And I know that eats up data time. A dilemma.
