.10 a text message is ridiculous. The only person I use actual text messaging with these days is my brother, who won't upgrade to iOS 5. I use iMessage for everyone else. I've noticed that iMessage seems faster than plain texting. It's like having a real time conversation. I don't understand why one would turn it off since it would make the person your texting with have to send regular texts which uses up their number of text messages.
