Among the most limited data plans available, at least in the USA, is $15 for 200 megabytes of data.

10,000 full-length 160-character messages use up 1,600,000 Bytes, or 1.6 megabytes of data.
On the above-named plan, that would cost the user 12 cents.

Let me repeat: TEN THOUSAND full-length messages cost TWELVE CENTS.
