By the way, the "how it works" graphic shows the cordless phone
connected directly to the XLink. While you can do it that way, you
can also plug the XLink into a regular wall jack, with the house
phones plugged into their respective jacks. Just make sure your house
is no longer connected to the phone provider network as it provides
power as well, which could damage the XLink.
