[apple-iphone] Re: Calendar problem

Thanks for the reply, Bill. I figured the ATT/Verizon difference wasn't salient, but I wasn't sure.

Nancy is new to iPhone though she does have an iPad 1. iCloud is turned off on both machines. I don't think she has been using the Calendar app on the iPad or her Mac. So there wouldn't be anything to sync anyway.

I checked her Settings. everything seemed OK, no different from mine except for iCloud being turned off. iCloud is supposed to be optional syncing, isn't it? I can't see how having it turned off would render Calendar inoperable. I'm stumped.

Calendar does pick up Birthdays from the Contacts app. So it is functioning on one level. Any idea what part of Settings could cause Calendar to lose function like this? I don't know where to look.

Cathy

PS My replies are slow because I'm on Digest. I really do appreciate help.
