> At home I have wifi. My netbook picks it up just fine but as of yesterday (at least that's when I first noticed it) my 3gs iPhone is only using 3G! In the upper left shows 5 bars, AT&T and 3G. I go into settings and select wifi, which already shows my wifi's i.d. as being on, I touch that and am brought to the "choose a network" page and all that happens is the hourglass or refresh circle continues to revolve at my wifi's i.d. When i touch the arrow it has "forget this network" at the top and below that it shows the ip address and subnet mask. The remainder of the items are not filled in, but I've never had to do that before so I don't want to make things worse by guessing what to enter. I turned off my phone (all the way) for over a half hour and it's still the same.
One possibility to try is:
iPhone - Settings - General - Reset - "Reset Network Settings"
