Jim,
You say, "People differ in their uses and in their demand on the battery.", but yet you question the OP's need for a battery case.
If you listen to music, radio or audiobooks a lot, like a lot of people do, everyday, you are likely to need more battery power than the internal batter holds.
Other things like weak signal, push notifications, location services all will use more power. In fact, high power consumption is a regular topic on this and other lists.

A little later, I bought a battery-backup case for it. Since then — almost 6 years, and 5 different models of iPhone — I have never found a need for that kind of case. People differ in their uses, and in their demand on the battery. I think the lowest I ever saw my 5S, at bedtime when I plugged it in overnight, was around 22%. Are you certain you *need* a battery case? All that being said, Mophie makes good products and stands by them well. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jim Saklad mailto:jimdoc@icloud.com
