On an everyday basis, no, the battery life is fine and I get through a long
day with plenty of charge left. However, I spend quite a bit of time
helping out at my senior dad's place which is way out in BFNowonder.<G> My
cell signal out there is very, very poor -- sometimes there's no signal at
all -- and it runs the battery down very quickly just trying to stay
connected, forget doing anything on the internet. I spend a lot of time
doing his outdoor chores and have to have my phone with me (on vibrate
because I can't hear it over power tools) so he can contact me if he needs
me, so I can't exactly leave the phone on the charger during the day.
Additionally, the power goes out frequently there, and it's not all that
rare for the power to be out for 12+ hours.
Didn't realize I'd have to justify my need for a battery pack, but there it
is.
