I will second that. Plus, the weight of the battery guarantees that the phone will land on its back, not on the glass of the front. This is a low tech solution to the problem of shattered screens. As long as you remember that the battery is the BACKUP, and keep the battery switched OFF, you will be fine. I made the mistake of leaving my case switched ON - and the overcharging caused the battery pack to swell. I had to replace the battery, or risk have the screen break from the pressure. As it was, the screen assembly split between the glass and the backing. The Mophie battery case charges itself and the phone when put on its charger. All you have to do when the iPhone battery runs down is to switch the case on.
